YOUTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT

YOUTH ART FOR THE EARTH

In 2021 we launched the “Youth Art for the Earth” project, funded by the European Union (Creative Europe). This initiative saw us partner with regional organisations in France, Serbia, and Slovenia to engage 120 young individuals across 6 cities . The project aimed to foster public discourse on local environmental issues through workshops and public murals.

STREET ART FOR CLIMATE AND DIVERSITY

Paint the Change conducted street art workshops in the UK, Greece, and Serbia, tackling issues of climate change, inequality, and diversity, supported by the Creative Europe program. These workshops empowered young people to use art for social activism, providing a safe space for discussing social and political concerns. Each workshop series concluded with the creation of a mural reflecting the issues chosen by the participants.
