STREETS OF GROWTH
Shine your light
Streets of Growth worked with street artist, ATMA, to support a group of female students who attend Central Foundation Girls' School in Bow to co-design a community mural for Usk Street, E2. The artwork hopes to inspire positivity and optimism in its’ viewers by bringing colour, life, and a touch of the natural environment to the estate.
Peace on the Streets
We joined a group of young Streets of Growth leaders at The Manor, their creative hub in Bethnal Green, to host a street art and advocacy workshop to discuss what peace meant to them, specifically in Tower Hamlets and within their local communities.
Hands of Hope
Streets of Growth and Tower Hamlets Homes tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) through community projects and local engagement. They asked us to help residents of Birchfield Estate paint a mural for their communal garden in Westferry. In an afternoon of painting, crafting, barbecuing, and sharing, residents, police, ASB officers, and Streets of Growth young leaders were united in creating their new mural.
