The giant artwork by award-winning street artist ATMA celebrates the diversity of the NHS and frontline workers, featuring portraits of a young Londoner, an NHS health worker and hundreds of hand-drawn flowers crowdsourced from across the United Kingdom.

The mural is a celebration of Tower Hamlets coming out of lockdown and its community coming back together, welcoming back local residents by reflecting the rich mix of people and cultures that make up the borough.

Choose Courage - Bethnal Green Mural

A group of Tower Hamlets young people inspired by local hero, international boxer Ramla Ali, led the production of a new permanent mural on the corner of Bethnal Green Road and Barnet Grove.It was co-created through workshops with participants from young people’s programmes at Numbi Arts and Rich Mix.
