Paint the Change Global

Health Studio East Africa and Paint the Change collaborated to create three murals warning against Covid Disinformation in Nakuru (Kenya) and Busano (Uganda). Each mural was preceded by a workshop with the local communities, where participants discussed what myths and fake news stories they’d heard surrounding Covid-19. Health advisors from Pollicy Uganda and Open Society East Africa, in Uganda and Kenya respectively, proceeded to unpack these myths and inform the residents on the realities of the disease and the proper Covid prevention measures to follow.
